Region Ten provides a variety of mental health services to meet the needs of our community. Services are provided for all age groups and are provided on an individual, group, or family basis. Services are also available at numerous locations across our catchment area to those experiencing mental health challenges and who may also have issues with substance use. Mental Health Services are strength-based, recovery-oriented services designed to evaluate and treat the mental health challenges that individuals may experience during their lifetime.

Crisis Intervention
The emergency services unit provides immediate assistance to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. The goals are to: Prevent the crisis from worsening Relieve immediate distress Prevent individuals from harming themselves and/or others Services include assessment, crisis intervention and stabilization, short-term counseling, psychiatric services and critical stress management for individuals and families.

Crisis Intervention
Crisis intervention services are available 24 hours a day to persons who are experiencing a mental health or substance use emergency. The Loudoun County Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Assessment Center provides mental health evaluation, crisis intervention and stabilization services, as well as links to various resources for anyone experiencing a mental health or substance use related emergency. Individuals may walk-in to receive assistance from 9AM to 2PM, Monday through Friday. Emergency Services over the telephone is available 24/7.

Community Stabilization offers short-term, intensive mental health support for individuals experiencing an acute psychiatric crisis that puts them at risk of hospitalization. We aim to quickly stabilize mental health needs while keeping individuals within their community and close to their support networks.

RBHA's Crisis Intervention provides 24-hour emergency services, information, referral, and triage for outpatient services for individuals in the City of Richmond. Crisis clinicians will be available to discuss and respond to service needs. Individuals seeking services from outside the City of Richmond will be linked to the Crisis Intervention program or to the Community Services Board serving the locality where they reside.

Provides quality care for the citizens of the commonwealth with serious mental or secondary substance abuse disorders within an integrated and collaborative service system which involves linkage with consumers, families and community health care providers. Accepts individuals with serious mental health, ages 18-64 who are residents of Northwest and Central Virginia. Accepts deaf patients from all of Virginia and jail transfers only from Northern Virginia for psychiatric evaluation.

Emergency Services Crisis staff are available 24/7 to offer support, guidance, and direct intervention when necessary for persons in behavioral health crisis. Crisis Counselors work in conjunction with local hospitals, first responders, and community members to assist with resolving situations and developing plans of immediate care to outpatient and inpatient resources.

Intensive In-Home Services provide support, guidance, and skills training for children who are at risk of being removed from their home due to serious behavioral issues. St. Joseph's Villa work with families to find fresh approaches to destructive behaviors, helping to break the cycle of negative patterns. Services provided include: • Crisis intervention and diagnostic assessments • Collaboration with parents/guardians to create an effective, positive behavioral management system • Caregiver training and support • Individual and family counseling • Care coordination with schools and community resources to create a stable environment • Individualized approaches that focus on the unique needs of the child and family • A 24-hour emergency response system, including weekends • Comprehensive discharge planning • Referrals for additional services as needed

Emergency Services provides screening for commitment related mental health/crisis involuntary hospitalization 24 hours a day. Crisis intervention is also provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Services include telephone counseling, face to face assessments, consultations, pre-screening for commitment, voluntary hospitalization and referral sources for persons experiencing mental health problems.
Crisis services are a 24 hour, 7 day a week emergency program within the Hanover County Community Services Board (CSB). Crisis provides emergency mental health and/or substance abuse services. In addition, it is the entry point for outpatient MH/SA services at the CSB for Hanover County residents who meet the eligibility criteria for these services.
