Community Services Boards are joint partnerships between local and state governments. Providing Mental Health, Developmental and Intellectual disabilities and Substance Use disorder services.

Region Ten provides a variety of mental health services to meet the needs of our community. Services are provided for all age groups and are provided on an individual, group, or family basis. Services are also available at numerous locations across our catchment area to those experiencing mental health challenges and who may also have issues with substance use. Mental Health Services are strength-based, recovery-oriented services designed to evaluate and treat the mental health challenges that individuals may experience during their lifetime.

Intake and Assessment for Adults with Serious Mental Illness and/or Substance Abuse Disorders. Brief and crisis counseling services offered as interim. Trauma Specific Therapies available.

Provides comprehensive home and clinic-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to children and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Provides Crisis Services including crisis intervention/stabilization. Provides help for those in crisis, contemplating suicide or severely depressed in need of inpatient psychiatric hospitalization.

The Standard for Clinicians' Interview in Psychiatry (SCIP) is a method of assessment of psychopathology for adults. It is designed to be administered by clinicians and includes the SCIP manual and the SCIP interview.

Provides phone and face-to-face intervention which includes crisis intervention; pre-screening for hospitalization; working with the legal, judicial, healthcare and other referral sources; and securing inpatient beds or alternative services.

Connections ABA & Family Support Services Provides home-based and clinic-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children and adolescents under the age of 21 who demonstrate significant impairment in adaptive functioning that is related to either developmental delays or other health conditions.

The Greater Williamsburg Child Assessment Center provides comprehensive assessments, substance use screening and referrals to community treatment and support providers based on identified needs. Specialized Assessments include: - Mental Health: attention/concentration, behavioral, developmental, mood - Substance Use: screening and treatment recommendations - Trauma: impact of abuse, bullying, aftermath of an event or loss - Court-ordered: mental health evaluation - Intelligence and adaptive functioning

In partnership with the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) and Henrico County, the Crisis Receiving Center (CRC) at St. Joseph’s Villa provides immediate help for youth in need of emergency behavioral health care, and their families. Youth may stay at the CRC for up to 23 hours, during which time they are directly linked to the next appropriate level of care. The transition of care is a collaborative process. Our multidisciplinary team of nurses, clinicians, and mental health professionals actively connect youth and families to community-based services for follow-up treatment, and ensure a warm handoff by scheduling appointments, communicating closely with service providers, and tailoring referrals based on the individual’s and family’s specific needs and location. All youth leave with a personalized Safety Plan, linkages to their local Community Services Board (CSB), and referrals that may include outpatient counseling, therapy centers, Villa in-home services, or the Villa’s nearby Crisis Stabilization Unit. The CRC at St. Joseph's Villa is the first youth-specific facility of its kind in Virginia, offering a specialized alternative to hospital emergency departments and reduced waiting periods for service.

Outpatient and Support Services provide confidential assessments for adults, children and families requesting services. Based on the assessment, individuals are referred to a service that is most beneficial to their specific needs. Provides crisis intervention, prevention, and therapeutic respite services to adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and behavioral challenges or mental health concerns. START is available 24/7 to address crisis situations through telephone consults and/or face to face assessments. Ongoing services will assist with working with the person and his/her system of support to identify areas of concern and design a plan to prevent and/or provide intervention in the event of a crisis.

Community mental health,intellectual development and disability services , substance abuse services and emergency services.

Crisis services are a 24 hour, 7 day a week emergency program within the Hanover County Community Services Board (CSB). Crisis provides emergency mental health and/or substance abuse services. In addition, it is the entry point for outpatient MH/SA services at the CSB for Hanover County residents who meet the eligibility criteria for these services.

Offers services to children and adolescents under age eighteen experiencing problems and disruption in their home, school, or community due to emotional disturbance and/or substance abuse. Provides treatment to support optimal functioning and to maintain the child in the community and/or least restrictive environment. Services include individual, family, and group counseling, play and expressive art therapies, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, case management, crisis intervention, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and discharge planning from state and private mental hospitals with linkage to community services. Therapy services are provided to detainees at Roanoke Valley Juvenile Detention Center.

Provides crisis intervention services, pre-screening evaluation for inpatient treatment for mental health, substance abuse, sexual abuse, and intellectual disability issues. Services begin with an intake process where you meet with one of our professional clinicians to review current concerns and personal history in order to best determine your individual service needs. A financial intake is also completed.

RBHA's Crisis Intervention provides 24-hour emergency services, information, referral, and triage for outpatient services for individuals in the City of Richmond. Crisis clinicians will be available to discuss and respond to service needs. Individuals seeking services from outside the City of Richmond will be linked to the Crisis Intervention program or to the Community Services Board serving the locality where they reside.

Intensive In-Home Services provide support, guidance, and skills training for children who are at risk of being removed from their home due to serious behavioral issues. The Villa works with families to find fresh approaches to breaking the cycle of destructive behaviors. Services provided include: • Crisis intervention and diagnostic assessments • Collaboration with parents/guardians to create an effective, positive behavioral management system • Caregiver training and support • Individual and family counseling • Care coordination with schools and community resources to create a stable environment • Individualized approaches that focus on the unique needs of the child and family • A 24-hour emergency response system, including weekends • Comprehensive discharge planning • Referrals for additional services as needed

Respond on a 24-hour basis to the members of the community while providing comprehensive and respectful intervention to those experiencing a crisis related to mental health, substance abuse and/or intellectual disabilities.

A satellite office of Mount Rogers Community services providing comprehensive community-based mental health and substance abuse services. Serves persons of all ages. Provides public education services.

The Emergency and Evaluation Services provides crisis intervention services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Crisis services include assessment for psychiatric hospitalization for individuals who present a need in the D19 catchment area.

The Emergency Services Program provides an effective, rapid response to critical situations 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Services are directed toward adults and children and adolescents who are experiencing severe, acute symptoms of mental illness or emotional disorder, including those with a risk of suicide, risk of danger to others, and emergencies related to alcohol or drug abuse or addiction. Offered in each of the offices by clinical social workers, and counselors. Outpatient counseling services are brief in nature, often utilizing "solution focused" or other brief models of behavior modification. Provided at four different locations: Main Center (adjacent to SWCC), Tazewell County Satellite Office (Tazewell), Russell County Satellite Office (Lebanon), and at the Buchanan County Satellite Office (Grundy).
