The office of Neighborhood Services works collaboratively with citizens, neighborhood groups, government agencies, businesses and nonprofit organizations to strengthen the social fabric of our neighborhoods. Through the use of social media, other digital platforms, neighborhood collaboration, customer service, public outreach, and other special projects, this office provides a one-stop-shop for engaging with the public. The Office of Community Engagement also encompasses The Office of Communications and Neighborhood Services.

Responsible for clearing all public streets within the city limits. The City's fleet of plows and chemical spreaders are on duty 24 hours a day until all City streets have been cleared and made safe.

The Street Division includes repair and replacement of concrete curbs and gutters, highway medians, driveway entrance aprons, sidewalks, filling of potholes, repairs to deteriorated sections of streets and grading of gravel shoulders.
DPW is comprised of two divisions: Administration (contracting, engineering, construction, and permitting), located at City Hall, and Operations (infrastructure, fleet, and facilities maintenance and operation, as well as leaf collection, snow plowing, and storm cleanup), located at the Property Yard.
