Serves as the central state agency, providing statewide financial services for agencies and institutions of the Commonwealth. Has six service area divisions: General Management, Debt Management, Risk Management, Operations, Cash Management and Investments and Unclaimed Property. Reports directly to the Secretary of Finance, which is a cabinet position reporting directly to the Governor. Is responsible for the investment of state monies, issuance and management of the short and long-term financing needs of the Commonwealth, administration of the states unclaimed property and escheat laws, administration of insurance and risk management programs, management of the states banking network, development of cash management programs, and check issuance services.

The Citizens First Info Center is the best way to get general information about the City and make service requests. Any City Department can be called directly, but just one call to the Citizens First Info Center gets you personal assistance with almost any non-emergency business you have with the City. If a question or problem cannot be addressed, your inquiry will be forwarded to the appropriate person. All City Departments work in cooperation with the Info Center to make sure questions and requests get responses in a timely manner.
Provides information and advice on cable TV services available in Fairfax County. Responds to complaints regarding cable television and telecommunications construction, restoration and technical problems. Oversees the County's non-exclusive cable television franchise agreements with Cox Communications, Comcast, and Verizon, through enforcement of franchise agreements, inspection of facilities, and attention to resident concerns.

The C.P.A. meets once a week for two hours and learns some of what it is like to be a Police Officer and step in shoes by attending some of the police training. Some of the topics discussed are: The History of Police, Gang Issues, Domestic Security and Terrorism, Firearms and Tactical Operations, The Court System, Traffic Stops and Patrol Techniques, K-9, Defensive Tactics and F.A.T.S. ( Firearm Training Simulator), Crime Prevention, Evidence and Forensics. Meet for two hours once a week for 10 weeks in the Fall.

The Association provides the public and health care professionals with the most up-to-date information to help take a stand against diabetes through our Center for Information and Community Support (1-800-DIABETES) and two web sites, www.diabetes.org and www.stopdiabetes.com, as well as via consumer and professional books and periodicals. Local Signature special events: Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes, Tour de Cure in Reston, and Tour de Cure in Washington, DC. Community Outreach/Mission Delivery Programs are designed to help educate the community and people living with type 1 diabetes about managing the disease to live healthier lives.

***THE CITY OF RICHMOND HAS PAUSED APPLICATIONS FOR FUNDS TO THE WATER RECOVERY FUND*** Program can provide up to $2,500 in assistance to eligible households with expenses such as rent, health care, childcare, auto, and utility bills. Applications will be accepted until March 14 or until the fund has been exhausted. Eligible residents can expect financial assistance to be directed towards their service provider or biller, such as landlords, utility companies, and healthcare providers.
